Dr. Bruce Levine is certainly no ordinary psychologist. First of all, he was crazy enough to make another appearance on Baldy and The Blonde (he was also on our April 17, 2010, show). He is a brilliant social critic who offers common-sense solutions. We discussed his book Get Up, Stand Up: Uniting Populists, Energizing the Defeated, and Battling the Corporate Elite, and his brilliant essay "The Tenfold Path to Guts, Solidarity and the Defeat of the Corporate Elite."

We are disturbingly close to living under de facto martial law, now that the Indiana Supreme Court has ruled that citizens of that state cannot resist against unlawful entries by police who have neither probable cause nor a warrant, throwing rights of Hoosiers back 800 years to pre-Magna Carta days. The U.S. Supreme Court promptly followed up that ruling with a doozy of their own: Police can break into your house if they hear something from inside that makes them think you're destroying evidence (don't worry, the police will always be honest about what they "heard"!). Also, Louisiana state senator Danny Martiny of District 10 called in from the floor of the senate to discuss his bill to outlaw speeding cameras.

This is one interview you won't want to miss. We went as commercial-free as possible with our special guest Dr. Paul Craig Roberts, former Assistant Secretary of the Treasury and former associate editor of the Wall Street Journal. Dr. Roberts has done a lot in his past, but here's something he won't do: mince words. Here's what he wrote the day after we were told bin Laden had been killed: "As it is, we must take it as more evidence that the US government has unlimited belief in the gullibility of Americans." We covered a lot of ground with Dr. Roberts, and he left us with a warning that if there is a terror attack in the U.S., the culprit is likely rogue elements within the U.S. government/military ("Black Ops").

Two great interviews in one! Our guests were Dr. Thaddeus Russell (he was also on the show April 13) and Cindy Sheehan. We discussed the silence of the anti-war left, the rift within the Tea Party over the wars, and how anti-war people from all across the spectrum can and must come together.
