Who the heck are Baldy & The Blonde?
And what possessed Baldy to wear a pink shirt for a publicity photo?

Picture
Tom "Baldy" Kowitz and Michele "The Blonde" Gaudin are two freedom-loving, big-government-bashing, patriotic freaks who were offered sacks full of cash (it is New Orleans, after all) to create a radio talk show. (Aside to the IRS: we didn't accept the cash.) The Baldy & The Blonde show was launched in November, 2009. It airs live on WGSO 990AM Wednesday afternoons 5 to 6.

Baldy
Tom actually has an impressive full head of hair but shaves it for the show. Obviously an ADD sufferer, in previous lives he has worked in as a sports information director at a Division I university; official scorer for a AAA minor-league baseball team; counselor for troubled teens; courier driver; marketing director of a trust company; general manager of a manufacturing & mail-order company; executive director of a professional baseball league; car salesman; and mortgage broker.  Oh, yeah. And he took a turn a full-time stay-at-home dad for a while. Now he works as Michele's legal assistant.
The Blonde
Michele, a big time lawyer in her other life, is way too busy to write a profile of herself, so she asked Tom to write it for her. Michele always wanted to host a radio talk show but feared she didn't have the talent. But once she met Tom and realized his talent could easily carry a show, she begged him to be her co-host. He accepted, but only on the condition that she dye her hair more often, because the show name "Baldy & The Blonde With Roots" was already taken.
