2010 May 29 -- Show #30
On today’s lively edition, Tom Kowitz and Michele Gaudin led off by talking about the continued mess in the Gulf before welcoming Plaquemines Parish president Billy Nungesser, who has been the champion and the voice of the people on the Gulf coast. Author Hank Albarelli (A Terrible Mistake) joined the show to discuss the CIA’s and U.S. Army’s use of LSD on the American people in major U.S. cities. And what edition of Baldy & The Blonde would be complete without an appearance by the venerable yet entertaining Vinny Ravioli.
2010 May 22 -- Show #29
More news on the oil gusher as now apparently Louisiana can’t get $350 million to implement their own plan. Meanwhile, big banks bathe in bailouts by the billion. Jim Babka, founder of Downsize D.C., joins the show to discuss how easy it is through Dowsize D.C. to e-mail your concerns to your representatives and senators, plus more about the organization. For information, check out www.downsizedc.org. And ocal musician Jake Smith stops by to play some music. If you want to check out more of his music, go to www.jakesmithmusic.com. As always, Vinny Ravioli puts a wrap on this show.
2010 May 15 -- Show #28
It starts as back and forth between Michele and a hyper Tom who decided to show up really early, but eventually the show morphs back into its Baldy and the Blonde form. Michele also discusses a possible soon-to-be Broadway show based on the book Nine Lives. How about the idea of the federal government overseeing the police department? Comforting, right? Not really. Susan Daniels, a private investigator in Ohio for 15 years joins the show to discuss her claim that President Barack Obama’s use of his Social Security Number is fraudulent. Wayne Allyn Root, a self-made millionaire and head of a group called VETO (Vote Every one of Them Out) joins the show. Mr. Root also shares an interesting perspective on Barack Obama. Mr. Root studied law at Harvard during the same time Obama was reportedly there, yet Mr. Root says that neither he nor any of is classmates ever saw or even heard of Obama during law school. Hmmmmmm. And of course a weekly visit from the one and only Vinny Ravioli.

2010 May 8 -- Show #27
Happy six-month anniversary to Tom Kowitz and Michele Gaudin, who start by thanking all of you for tuning in every week. Tom and Michele discuss an e-mail from Senator David Vitter, the first week of Mayor Mitch Landrieu in the books, and what Tom’s platform would be if he ran for office. Gerald Celente, a trends researcher, joins the show to discuss the oil gushing in the Gulf of Mexico, an experience he had in Chile, and some of the amazing trends he sees on the horizon for this country. Mark Proegler, a propaganda specialist from BP, tries his hand at spewing the corporate line about the catastrophe in the Gulf, but Tom and Michele won’t have any of it. Before the interview is over, Proegler admits that SWAT teams indeed were sent to oil platforms and that BP chose not to install a remote shut-off valve because they weren’t required. And Vinny Ravioli caps it off a whole lot better than BP can cap the oil spill

2010 May 1 -- Show #26
On today’s show, a normally cheerful Michele Gaudin and Tom Kowitz are in not such a laugh medicine mood thanks to the disastrous oil spill, no contingency plan, and why Louisiana is stuck with the burden of dealing with the incompetence of the federal government. State representative John Labruzzo joins the show to elaborate more on the oil disaster and how bad it’s getting for Louisiana. Representative Labruzzo also talks about what’s going on with the legislative session in Baton Rouge. Andrew Duhon, who is among the many performers at Jazz Fest, drops by to bring some fun and jazz to an otherwise gloomy weekend for Louisiana residents. And of course, the one and only Vinny Ravioli brings a news story about what the Cub scouts are earning badges for these days.
